Gladius (Appendix Holster)

Description

The Gladius is a Latin word meaning “sword”

specifically used by the ancient Romans.

They protected themselves 2500 years ago with the Gladius and now you can protect yourself with our Gladius holster too.

On this design we focused on a flex concept that allows the holster to bend in the middle. Intertwined with a durable flex (bungee) cord, this will allow the holster to bend with different body types, shapes and sizes.

This is also good for bending over, doing physical activities, driving or sitting.

The pistol portion side uses two pieces of kydex that you can select a color for the front and the back. You will only be able to select one color for the magazine carrier due to it’s one piece design.

Adjust the retention by tightening the top screw on the belt clip right below the trigger guard. If you have a light bearing holster you would need to adjust the top screw on the Modwing. The retention screw for the magazine carrier is located between the pistol and magazine, tighten or loosen for more or less retention.

(PLEASE NOTE: The holster will be longer at the end of the muzzle if you have a compact, sub compact, mirco sub compact or smaller. The holster will need to have that extra material to attach the wedge and properly leverage the muzzle outwards and to pull the top of the slide into the body.)

Custom prints:

Custom prints are also available under the color drop down menu.

Select “custom print” and add your image in the file upload.

For better coverage on the holster it is best if you have the image repeat itself throughout the sheet/holster.

If the image you select  is a single image, we will photoshop it to repeat itself on the sheet unless requested otherwise.

Modwing:

The Modwing is designed to push against the beltline. In return it pulls the grip of the pistol flush against the body, helping with concealment and “Printing.” There are two different style modwings; Standard modwing, and light bearing modwing.

WEDGE

The Wedge is designed to mount to the inside face of the holster towards the muzzle end. The Holster Wedge will help lever the top of the slide tightly against the body maximizing concealment, especially in an AIWB configuration.

Shock cord:

The two piece holster and mag carrier design has a shock cord intertwined between the holster. It allows the holster to flex with the body for different body types. The shock cord is a strong durable and elastic material.
