At Slim Fit Holsters, we’ve updated our mold library to include both Gen 1 and Gen 2 versions of the AXG series. That means whether you just picked up the new Gen 2 or you’re running the original AXG Legion, you’ll get a holster that actually fits.
⚙️ What’s Different About Gen 2?
While the Gen 1 and Gen 2 AXG frames look nearly identical from the outside, there are minor but critical differences that affect holster fit:
- Wider trigger guard on the Gen 2 frame
- Slightly altered slide-to-rail height
- Updated rail flat geometry
These small dimensional changes are enough to make a Gen 1 holster feel too tight or misaligned on the Gen 2 — especially if it’s a precision-formed Kydex rig like ours.
