The Fusion Firearms XP Pro and XP Comp bring a modern approach to the double-stack 1911 platform. They combine familiar 1911-style controls with features designed for today’s shooters. Whether you’re running the standard XP Pro or the compensated XP Comp, choosing the right holster is just as important as choosing the pistol itself.
At Slim Fit Holsters, we now offer holsters specifically made for the Fusion Firearms XP Pro and XP Comp. These include both light-bearing and non-light-bearing configurations.
More importantly, you’re not limited to one style of holster. We offer multiple carry options. This allows you to build your XP Pro or XP Comp setup around how you actually carry.
Holsters Made Specifically for the Fusion XP Pro & XP Comp
Fitment matters.
Instead of treating the Fusion XP series as simply another double-stack 1911, our holsters are made for the specific firearm configuration selected when ordering.
That is especially important with the XP Comp. The compensated configuration has a different overall profile than the standard pistol. Therefore, the holster needs to account for those differences.
Whether you choose the XP Pro or XP Comp, Slim Fit Holsters gives you a purpose-built option. This is better than relying on a generic holster that happens to be “close enough.”
Light-Bearing & Non-Light-Bearing Options
We support both light-bearing and non-light-bearing Fusion XP configurations.
If you prefer a simpler, more streamlined setup, you can choose a non-light-bearing holster built around the pistol itself.
If your XP Pro or XP Comp is equipped with a supported weapon-mounted light, simply select the appropriate light when building your holster. Our light-bearing holsters are designed around the combination of the firearm and weapon light. This provides the proper fit and retention for that specific setup.
This gives Fusion owners the freedom to configure their pistol the way they want. You don’t have to choose a holster first and then build the gun around it.
Phalanx AIWB
For shooters looking for a dedicated appendix carry setup, our Phalanx AIWB is one of our primary concealed-carry options.
The Phalanx is a one-piece appendix inside-the-waistband holster designed to keep the firearm secure while maintaining a streamlined profile.
Its dual-clip configuration helps distribute the pistol’s weight across the belt while providing additional stability. This can be particularly beneficial with a larger double-stack pistol like the Fusion XP Pro or XP Comp.
The Phalanx also comes with a foam wedge, with your choice of a small or large wedge. The wedge helps position the holster against the body. Moreover, it can improve both comfort and concealment by helping reduce grip printing.
Combined with its concealment-focused design, the Phalanx gives XP owners a strong combination of stability, adjustability, concealment, and accessibility in a dedicated appendix carry platform.
Guard IWB
Our Guard IWB gives Fusion XP owners a highly customizable inside-the-waistband option.
The Guard comes standard with a single-clip IWB design. One of the biggest advantages of the Guard is the ability to build it around your personal carry preferences.
You can customize the Guard with a ModWing concealment wing. You also can choose from different belt attachment options, including a FOMI clip, Monoblock, or dual TacWare clips.
If you want a simple, streamlined holster with a single belt clip, the Guard IWB is a great setup. If you want additional concealment features or a different belt attachment system, you can configure those options when ordering.
We don’t believe every customer needs the exact same holster configuration. We let you choose how you want your holster set up.
Its compact design also gives you flexibility when experimenting with different carry positions around the waistband.
For shooters who want to carry their XP Pro or XP Comp inside the waistband while having control over the final configuration, the Guard is an excellent option.
Orbis OWB
Not everyone wants to carry inside the waistband.
Our Orbis OWB gives Fusion XP owners an outside-the-waistband option. It is designed to keep the pistol secure and close to the body.
Rather than using a traditional bulky OWB mounting system, the Orbis uses Infinity Flex Loops. These create a flexible, close-riding belt attachment system.
The flexible loops allow the holster to work with the natural contour of the body while keeping the firearm positioned close to the belt. This makes the Orbis a great option for shooters who want the accessibility and comfort of OWB carry without an unnecessarily bulky setup.
The Orbis also allows for adjustable cant, giving you additional control over the angle at which the firearm rides on your belt.
For a pistol like the Fusion XP Pro or XP Comp, a stable OWB platform can help distribute the size and weight of the firearm more comfortably across the belt. At the same time, it maintains a clean, practical setup.
Carnex Weapon System
For shooters looking for greater modularity, the Carnex Weapon System takes the concept beyond a traditional standalone holster.
Carnex is built around a one-piece holster body combined with our Tegris hinge and Carnex ARM system. The adjustable mounting system gives you additional control over how the firearm sits and carries.
The Carnex ARM provides multiple mounting positions. This allows the system to be adjusted to better match your preferred carry position and setup.
But what really separates Carnex from a traditional holster is its modularity.
The system can be expanded with additional equipment carriers. This lets you build a more complete EDC system around your Fusion XP.
Depending on your setup, Carnex can accommodate accessories such as a magazine carrier, pepper spray carrier, and other supported components.
Instead of carrying several completely separate pieces of equipment, Carnex gives you the ability to create an integrated carry system. This system is built around what you actually carry every day.
For an XP Pro or XP Comp owner who wants more than a basic holster, Carnex provides a highly configurable platform. It is designed around a complete EDC setup.
Optic-Ready Options
The XP series is well suited to modern pistol optics, and our holsters can accommodate optic-equipped configurations.
If you’re running a red-dot sight on your XP Pro or XP Comp, you don’t have to choose between carrying an optic and getting a holster designed specifically for your firearm.
You can build out the pistol the way you want—optic, weapon light, or a clean non-light-bearing setup. After that, you can select the appropriate holster configuration.
Adjustable Retention
Proper retention is a major part of how a holster should function.
Our holsters are designed to provide secure retention while still allowing for a smooth, consistent draw. Depending on the selected configuration, retention can be adjusted so you can fine-tune the holster to your personal preference.
With our light-bearing holsters, retention is designed around the weapon light. This is an important distinction because a light-bearing holster functions differently from a standard non-light-bearing holster.
The result is a holster designed around the complete firearm and weapon-light combination. This is rather than simply adding extra space for a light.
Concealment Features
A good concealed-carry holster isn’t simply a piece of Kydex that holds a firearm.
How the holster positions the pistol against the body can make a significant difference in concealment, especially with a larger double-stack pistol.
Depending on the Slim Fit Holsters model and configuration you choose, concealment features can include options such as a ModWing and foam wedge.
The ModWing helps rotate the grip of the pistol toward the body, reducing how far the grip protrudes outward.
The foam wedge changes how the holster rests against the body. It can help bring the grip of the firearm closer to you while also improving comfort.
Together, these features can make a substantial difference when concealing a larger pistol such as the XP Pro or XP Comp.
Your Holster. Your Setup.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing Slim Fit Holsters is choice.
We understand that two people carrying the exact same pistol may want completely different setups.
You can start with the pistol you actually own and build the holster around it:
XP Pro or XP Comp. Light-bearing or non-light-bearing. Optic or no optic. Different belt attachment options. Concealment wing or no wing. IWB, AIWB, OWB, or a modular Carnex configuration.
We give you the options to configure a holster around your firearm, your equipment, and the way you carry.
